Bobby Shmurda was involved in a chaotic altercation during a nightclub appearance in Minnesota over the weekend, after a confrontation with a heckler escalated into a full-blown brawl.
The incident unfolded Saturday night while the Brooklyn rapper was performing at the MN Gold Room in Minneapolis. According to eyewitness accounts, tensions rose after someone in the crowd allegedly hurled a bottle in Shmurda’s direction while shouting an obscenity aimed at the rapper.
Shmurda reportedly responded by exchanging heated words with the individual, appearing visibly upset by the disrespect. Moments later, the situation spiraled as multiple people rushed toward the rapper, triggering a physical confrontation near the stage.
Video from inside the club shows a flurry of pushing and swinging as security and bystanders struggled to contain the chaos. Amid the melee, Shmurda was eventually able to retreat toward the DJ booth, where he appeared shaken and attempted to protect himself as the crowd surged around him.
Sources told TMZ that the rapper used a chair defensively while trying to keep attackers at a distance until law enforcement intervened. Police ultimately escorted Shmurda out of the venue and safely to his vehicle. It remains unclear whether any arrests were made, and authorities have not yet released an official statement on the incident.
Following the altercation, Bobby appeared in an Instagram Story post dancing and saying, “You just fucked up the whole program” to the camera.
This isn’t the first time one of Shmurda’s performances has ended in turmoil. Last year, a show at the Proud Cabaret nightclub in London also erupted into a confrontation involving Shmurda’s entourage and venue personnel.
No serious injuries were reported in that case and police were not called, and the rapper exited the venue shortly after the dispute. As of now, there are no reports of injuries stemming from the Minnesota brawl. Shmurda has not publicly commented on the incident.
