Bills’ Josh Allen joins elite company with sixth season of 35-plus offensive TDs

3) Nix joins Manning, Elway in historic winning streak

The Broncos trailed the Packers 23-14 in the third quarter in Week 15 — in other words Denver had Green Bay right where it wanted them. Bo Nix and Co. led another late-game comeback, outscoring the Packers 20-3 in the final 28 minutes of the game to secure a 34-26 win, their 11th in a row.

Nix tied Hall of Famers Peyton Manning (2012) and John Elway (1998) for the longest winning streak in a season by a Broncos quarterback all-time (Denver has won 11 straight). Week 15’s victory clinched a playoff berth for the Broncos for the second consecutive year (Denver went eight seasons without a playoff berth from 2016-2023 prior to drafting Nix).

The second-year quarterback finished with 302 pass yards and 4 pass touchdowns, the third game in his career with at least 300 pass yards and 4 pass touchdowns in a win. Nix is one of three quarterbacks all-time to have three wins reaching those marks within his first two seasons, joining Patrick Mahomes (4 such wins) and Hall of Famer Dan Marino (3).

Nix, who now has 22 wins, 7,031 pass yards, and 52 pass touchdowns in his career, joined Marino as the only quarterbacks in NFL history with at least 20 wins, 7,000 pass yards, and 50 pass touchdowns in his first two career seasons.
