INGLEWOOD, Calif. – The 2025 Rams are playoff bound, clinching a postseason berth with their 41-34 win over the Lions on Sunday at SoFi Stadium.
“It’s great to be able to punch a ticket to the playoffs,” head coach Sean McVay said postgame. “That’s obviously always a goal, is to be able to give yourself a chance to play extra games after that, those 17 (games) that you’re guaranteed.”
The Rams are currently the No. 1 seed in the NFC; if they maintain hold of it, they would have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.

With a postseason spot clinch, the Rams turn their attention toward a Week 16 Thursday Night Football showdown with the Seahawks at Lumen Field in Seattle.
“It feels good (to clinch a playoff spot),” quarterback Matthew Stafford said postgame. “To be honest with you, (we) didn’t talk about it for one second this week. Just another opponent, another really good opponent we had to play at our place. And we knew it was going to be a tough one, but great accomplishment. (A) lot more football to be played.”
