Morocco have opened the scoring against the United Arab Emirates in their Arab Cup 2025 semi-final clash taking control midway through the first half.

The two side face off this Monday afternoon at 14:30 GMT with place in the Arab Cup final at stake.
Morocco booked their semi-final spot after edging past Syria 1-0 while the UAE advanced in dramatic fashion eliminating Algeria on penalties (7-6) following 1-1 draw in regulation time.
The breakthrough arrived in the 28 minute when Karim El Berkaoui found the net to give Morocco deserved lead.
The forward capitalised on sustained pressure firing past the UAE goalkeeper to put the Atlas Lions ahead before the interval.

At the time of writing, Morocco lead 1-0 in the semi-final encounter.
The winner of Morocco vs UAE will go on to face the victor of the other semi-final between Saudi Arabia & Jordan in the Arab Cup 2025 final.
