Vice President JD Vance speaks about economy during visit to Uline Shipping Supplies warehouse in Lehigh Valley

ALBURTIS, Pa. (WPVI) — Vice President JD Vance touched down in the Lehigh Valley on Tuesday, where he visited a warehouse to talk about the economy.
Vance toured the Uline Shipping Supplies center in Alburtis, Pennsylvania, just outside of Allentown.
His speech focused on the administration’s efforts to make life more affordable for Americans.
“In just the last 11 months, we’re creating 60,000 good-paying jobs for Pennsylvania families and we’re bringing in, just in this one commonwealth, $100 billion of new investment into this great place. That’s real opportunity for the American people,” he said.
Despite this messaging in recent weeks, President Donald Trump’s economic poll numbers are slipping.
The event puts eastern Pennsylvania back in the spotlight, just one week after President Trump made a visit to speak to supporters in the Poconos, and highlights the importance of Pennsylvania in next year’s midterm elections.
