Netflix and Barstool Sports Strike Exclusive Video Podcast Deal

Netflix is getting deeper into the sports conversation.

A new multi-year partnership with Barstool Sports will bring video versions of three of the brand’s biggest podcasts — Pardon My Take, The Ryen Russillo Podcast, and Spittin’ Chiclets — exclusively to Netflix beginning in early 2026.

Under the agreement, Netflix will stream all new video episodes from the three shows, along with select library episodes from each podcast. Audio versions of the podcasts will continue to be available everywhere fans already listen.

The video podcasts will debut on Netflix in the U.S., with additional markets expected to follow.

“We’re excited to partner with Netflix and hopefully bring new audiences to each platform,” said Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports.

Three Heavyweights, One Platform

The lineup coming to Netflix reads like a who’s who of modern sports media.

Pardon My Take, the top-ranked sports podcast on Barstool, is hosted by Big Cat and PFT Commenter and has built a massive following with its blend of sharp sports commentary, recurring segments, and self-aware humor that speaks directly to fans.

The Ryen Russillo Podcast features Russillo’s trademark analysis and long-form conversations with athletes, media figures, and voices across the sports world — the kind of thoughtful breakdowns that fuel Monday debates and group chats all week long.

And Spittin’ Chiclets, hosted by Ryan Whitney, Paul Bissonnette, and Rear Admiral, brings hockey culture front and center, mixing NHL coverage with pop culture, storytelling, and the locker-room energy the show has become known for.

A new home for sports conversation

For Netflix, the partnership continues the platform’s expansion into sports-adjacent programming — not just live events, but the culture, conversation, and personalities that surround them.

“We’re thrilled to team up with Barstool Sports and bring their top video podcasts to Netflix,” said Lauren Smith, Netflix VP of Content Licensing and Programming Strategy. “This partnership broadens how our members connect with Barstool’s leading sports voices and delivers exactly what our members crave: unfiltered commentary, sharp takes, and undeniable humor. We look forward to giving fans another exciting way to engage with the conversations they love on Netflix.”

The move signals a growing appetite for premium, personality-driven sports content that lives alongside games, events, and documentaries — content fans can throw on whether they’re locked in for every take or just catching up on the latest debates.
