‘Pack of men behaving worse than hyenas’: Actor Nidhhi Agerwal mobbed at Hyderabad mall; singer Chinmayi

HYDERABAD: Actor Nidhhi Agerwal faced a tense ordeal on Wednesday when she was surrounded by an unruly crowd at the launch event for the song ‘Sahana Sahana’ from the upcoming film ‘The Raja Saab’ at a Hyderabad mall. Footage from the event shows Agerwal struggling to reach her vehicle as fans and bystanders pressed in on all sides. Security personnel, including a bouncer, intervened to escort her safely, but the chaotic scene drew widespread attention online.The incident sparked debate about celebrity safety and crowd management at public events. Many social media users expressed concern for Agerwal, criticising both the organisers and attendees. Singer Chinmayi Sripada described the crowd’s behaviour as harassment. In a post on X, she wrote: “Pack of men behaving worse than hyenas… Put ‘likeminded’ men together in a mob, they will harass a woman like this. Why doesn’t some God take them all away and put them in a different planet?”
