Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple Martin rocked one of her mom’s famous looks at a recent event, coordinating with her famous mother for the occasion.
Martin, 21, attended the “Marty Supreme” premiere in New York on Tuesday wearing a fitted black gown, the same one her mother wore nearly 30 years prior at the 1996 premiere for the film “Emma.”

Paltrow donned a minimalist black Valentino Haute Couture gown for the event, posing with her daughter on the red carpet. Both Paltrow and Martin kept the rest of their ensembles simple, with minimal jewelry and soft, undone hairstyles.
In an Instagram post, which Martin shared on her own Instagram story, Vogue noted that Martin’s dress was a “Calvin Klein collection gown pulled from her mother’s extensive closet.”
Paltrow’s son Moses Martin, 19, also attended the event, wearing a gray suit jacket over a light blue shirt and white pants, finishing the outfit with a black and green striped tie and brown Dior by Jonathan Anderson shoes.
Paltrow stars in Josh Safdie’s “Marty Supreme” as retired actress and socialite Kay Stone, opposite Timothée Chalamet as Marty Mauser, who is chasing table tennis greatness. The film will be released in theaters Dec. 25.
This isn’t the first time Martin has donned one of her mom’s former red carpet looks: In 2023, Paltrow shared a photo of her daughter wearing her 2002 Alexander McQueen Oscars gown — a gothic inspired look with a sheer black top and long black train — in response to a fan’s question about whether her daughter ever pulled from her personal fashion archive.
In an interview with Vogue in September, Paltrow discussed how her daughter has taken an interest in some of her old fashion.
“She pulls all kinds of stuff. She’s very into all my ’90s Calvin, of which there’s a lot — and the ’90s Prada, of which there’s a lot,” Paltrow told Vogue. “Sometimes we just play dress up and she’ll put on my Oscar dresses and stuff like that. We have fun down there.”
Paltrow shares both of her children with ex-husband and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
