Bears picks: Week 16 vs. Packers

The Sun-Times’ Bears experts make their picks for the prime-time game Saturday night against the rival Packers at Soldier Field (7:20 p.m., Fox 32):
Patrick Finley
Bears, 27-21: Since Sept. 28, 2010, the Bears have beaten the Packers at Soldier Field exactly once — in 2018, when they clinched the NFC North. I should know better, right? Season: 9-5.
Jason Lieser
Packers, 24-22: In a real rivalry, most of the games come down to the end, and this one should, too. Ideally, the Bears will still get one more shot at the Packers as they’re on track to meet in the playoffs. Season: 8-6.
Scoop Jackson
Bears, 30- 22: Not looking past the Browns said all that needed to be known about this team. They’re ready. They’re for real. They’re not out for revenge, they just letting Green Bay know they’re here. Season: 6-8.
Steve Greenberg
Bears, 27-24: Picking the Bears to beat the Packers feels almost reckless based on rivalry history, but there’s reason to do it — and that reason is spelled P-A-R-S-O-N-S. No Micah Parsons, no reasons the Bears can’t do this. Season: 10-4.
Mark Potash
Bears, 31-29: The Bears have the revenge motive and home-field advantage. The Packers don’t have Parsons, but always seem to find a way to inflict some pain in these situations. Biggest test yet of “The Ben Johnson Effect.” Season: 9-5.
