‘Emily In Paris’ Season 5 Finale Pays Tribute To AD Diego Borella

The Venice-set finale of Emily in Paris Season 5 honors late assistant director Diego Borella in the credits following his passing on set of the Paramount Television Studios show earlier this year.

Borella, an Italian crew member, collapsed during preparation for a final scene shot at Hotel Danieli, and filming was temporarily paused as a result in August. The fifth season premieres today on Netflix.

A few moments in the finale suggest that, should the show be renewed for a sixth season, Emily and Mindy could find themselves in Greece.
