Today marks the beginning of Xbox’s Free Play Days, which temporarily gives Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential subscribers access to a handful of this year’s hits as well as a few older titles.
There are two exceptions, however. Parts of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 are available for all players until December 22, whether you have Game Pass or not. Similarly, Fallout 76 is free for everyone through December 23, and you don’t need Game Pass to enjoy it.
Some of the other games in this year’s lineup include NBA 2K26, WWE 2K25, and PGA Tour 2K25. Two of the older titles featured are Ark: Survival Ascended and The Forgotten City, the latter of which is available on both console and PC.
To get access to these titles, you will need to visit the Microsoft Store while signed into your account. If you already have a Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, or Essential membership, then all you need to do is click on the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store. All of the games will be listed under the Free Play Days collection for both Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.
If you decide you want to keep the games and any Achievements you’ve earned while playing them, these titles will be getting a limited-time discount.
All of this year’s Xbox Free Play Days games are listed below, and the event will run until Sunday, December 21.
