Bears urging fans to bring ‘4th Phase’ energy to Soldier Field for Saturday’s game vs. Packers
“Bears fans are the greatest in the world — the true 4th Phase of football,” said Bears vice president of fan development and brand marketing Sarah Smith. “Their energy will fuel a powerful home-field advantage on Saturday. We can’t wait for those 4th Phase moments, where their passion from the stands is sure to turn the night into something even more special for the Club.”
Discussing his appreciation for Bears fans, Williams said: “On game days, they’re monumental for us. We want them to be here. We want them to support. We want them to travel well with us. We want them to be proud to be the Chicago Bear fan.”
This season, the Bears have revived their nostalgic 4th Phase tradition, channeling fan energy into an unmatched fourth-quarter experience at Soldier Field.
At every home game this year, a video is played entering the fourth quarter featuring Hall of Fame middle linebacker Brian Urlacher’s voice directing fans to “Bring da noise, bring da passion and Bear down!” The video doubles as a nod to the past as well as a rallying cry for today’s fans behind a new young team that has compiled a 9-2 record since an 0-2 start.
