NEW YORK — Denver Nuggets head coach David Adelman has been fined $35,000 for directing inappropriate language toward game officials and failing to leave the court in a timely manner following his ejection, it was announced today by James Jones, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.
The incident, for which Adelman received his second technical foul and was ejected, occurred with 8:40 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Nuggets’ 115-101overtime loss to the Houston Rockets on Dec. 20 at Ball Arena.
