Powerball results for 12/20/25; Did anyone win the $1.43 billion jackpot?

LANSING, MI — There have now been 45 consecutive Powerball drawings without a grand-prize winner as no one won the $1.43 billion jackpot for the drawing held on Saturday, Dec. 20.
That means the drawing on Monday, Dec. 22, will be worth an estimated $1.6 billion, with a cash option of $735.3 million.
If Monday’s jackpot ends up hitting expectations, it will be the fourth largest prize in the game’s history.
The winning numbers are: 4-5-28-52-69

Powerball winners for Dec. 20:
- While there was no grand-prize winner, eight tickets sold won at least $1 million. Those tickets were sold in California, Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan (2x), New Hampshire and Ohio.
- None of those players also played the Power Play option, which would have increased their winnings to $2 million.
- Ticket sales did not meet estimates, leading to the jackpot being worth less than the advertised estimated grand prize of $1.5 billion.
- There were, 4,585,872 tickets sold in the drawing that won at least $4. In Michigan, 149,267 tickets sold won at least $4.
- As of the time of publication, Michigan Lottery officials had not announced where the $1 million winning tickets were sold in the state.
Powerball is offered in 45 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Players select five white numbers from (1 to 69) and one red ball (1 to 26). Tickets cost $2 each.

The last players from Michigan to win a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot is the Breakfast Club lottery club which claimed an $842 million jackpot in June 2024. The members plan to use the money to buy a home in Florida and travel.
And while they were lucky winners, it’s smart for players to check their tickets immediately as a Powerball winner worth $250,000 sold in Bloomfield Hills in 2024 went unclaimed. That money went to the state’s School Aid Fund.
