Snoop Dogg releases single ‘Christmas in Minnesota’ ahead of Vikings halftime performance

Snoop Dogg spent his Christmas in Minnesota this year, and he’s released a new track to celebrate the occasion.
Simply titled “Christmas in Minnesota,” the single references Anthony Edwards, Target Center, Minnesota nice and our 10,000 lakes. It’s hard to blame Snoop Dogg for using “soda” in his rhyme scheme, but he should know the locals call it “pop.”
Snoop was the halftime entertainment for Thursday’s game between the Vikings and the Lions at U.S. Bank Stadium, a 23-10 Vikings win. Joining him for “Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party” were country singer Lainey Wilson and HUNTR/X, the stars of the hit Netflix movie “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” and classical singers Andrea and Matteo Bocelli, and he also had Martha Stewart do a festive opening.
So if you’re looking for a geographically appropriate addition to your holiday playlist, check out “Christmas in Minnesota” on Spotify and Apple Music.
