Captivated has garnered a fresh wave of fans, with Netflix subscribers eager to learn more about its cast.Originally aired on Channel 5 last year, Captivated, also known as Too Good To Be True, has recently made its debut on Netflix and viewers can’t seem to get enough of it.
As the four-part suspense thriller continues to draw attention, here’s everything you need to know about its familiar cast.At the heart of Captivated is single mum Rachel, who is grappling with maintaining a job when she encounters a wealthy businessman and lands a role as his cleaner.

Rachel is portrayed by actress Kara Tointon, best known for her four-year stint as Dawn Swann in EastEnders.A year after her departure from the BBC drama, she clinched victory in Strictly Come Dancing season 10 alongside her dance partner Artem Chigvintsev.Tointon’s other roles include The Teacher, Archie, The Halcyon and ITV’s Mr Selfridge.
Elliot – Allen Leech

Irish actor Allen Leech plays the antagonist in Captivated as Elliot, the businessman who hires Rachel.While the job initially appears ideal, it gradually becomes apparent that Elliot harbours dark secrets and a manipulative nature.Leech is most famous for his role as Tom Branson in the unforgettable Downton Abbey, but he has also featured in The Imitation Game, Bohemian Rhapsody and The Vanishing Triangle.
