Nunzio Campanile appears to be on the move.

After three seasons coaching at Syracuse, the Fair Lawn native is heading to UConn to become the school’s new offensive coordinator, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Friday.

He will serve under UConn’s new head coach Jason Candle, the former Toledo coach who was hired this month to replace Jim Mora.

Campanile, who is a member of one of the most respected New Jersey football families, also spent five seasons on the Rutgers coaching staff, including separate stints as interim head coach and interim offensive coordinator.

He previously was the head coach at high school football powerhouse Bergen Catholic, which he led to a New Jersey state championship in 2017.

Campanile, who also spent time as offensive coordinator under Greg Toal at Don Bosco, is the son of former Paramus Catholic coach Mike Campanile. His brother Anthony is the defensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars. His brother Vito is the head coach at Bergen Catholic, and another brother, Nick, is the head coach at DePaul Catholic.
