Director Atlee is headed to Malaysia to attend the much-awaited audio launch of Jana Nayagan, the upcoming action thriller starring Thalapathy Vijay, and his departure has already grabbed attention for all the right reasons. The blockbuster filmmaker was recently spotted arriving at the airport in his brand-new Rolls-Royce Spectre EV.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre EV is the British luxury marque’s first fully electric model and represents a significant shift in high-end automotive design. Atlee’s car is finished in a sophisticated Black Diamond shade, paired with a striking Tangerine interior, giving it a bold yet refined presence. Powered by dual electric motors producing 575 BHP and an impressive 900 Nm of torque, the Spectre accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds—an extraordinary feat for a car of its size and stature.
Despite its performance credentials, the Spectre remains every bit a Rolls-Royce, featuring 23-inch wheels and the most aerodynamic version of the iconic “Spirit of Ecstasy” ever created. With an on-road price estimated at Rs. 7.6 crore, the vehicle places Atlee firmly among the elite circle of global luxury car owners.
Complementing the filmmaker’s arrival was his equally striking choice of wristwear. Atlee was seen sporting the Richard Mille RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph in Titanium, one of the brand’s most technically advanced timepieces. Known for housing Richard Mille’s most complex automatic movement with over 600 components, the watch features a unique “Rapid Winding” button that fully winds the movement in just 125 presses. Crafted from Grade 5 titanium, the watch is designed to be lightweight yet extremely durable, with an estimated value of around Rs. 3.9 crore.
Atlee appeared calm and effortlessly stylish as he prepared for his journey, but his presence at the Jana Nayagan audio launch carries deeper emotional significance. The film marks Thalapathy Vijay’s final outing as an actor before he shifts focus to his political career, making the event particularly special for fans.
Over the years, Atlee and Vijay have formed one of Tamil cinema’s most successful actor-director partnerships, delivering major hits such as Theri (2016), Mersal (2017), and Bigil (2019). Their collaborations have consistently blended Vijay’s mass appeal with Atlee’s commercially driven storytelling.
