FOLLOW ALONG

• Rodgers finds Freiermuth over the middle to the Cleveland 21.

• Steelers take over at their own 35 after a touchback. 1:40 remaining. No timeouts.

FIELD GOAL: The defense makes the three necessary stops, using all three timeouts to stop the clock. Szmyt is good from 33 yards. Steelers now need a touchdown to TIE the game. Browns, 13-6

Two-minute warning. Three straight incompletions. On fourth-and-10 from their own 20, Rodgers’ pass is batted down at the line. Ball turned over on downs. Not a single yard.

• Steelers barely make a stop on third-and-1. Corey Bojorquez has had a heck of a day punting the ball. He blasts this one 61 yards to the Pittsburgh 20. Miller has to call a fair catch. 2:16 remaining. Steelers have all three timeouts.

• On third-and-4 from the Pittsburgh 49, Rodgers hands off to Gainwell. Browns all over it. Tackled for loss. Browns take over at their own 10 after the punt.

• On third-and-9 from the Cleveland 13, Sanders completes to Sal Cannella, but well short of the sticks. Miller gets a good return on the punt. Steelers take over at their own 43. 7:03 remaining.

• Browns take over at their own 12. 9:44 remaining.

• Critical false start penalty on Cook. Third-and-1 turns into third-and-6. Rodgers then throws incomplete for Freiermuth. This offense, guys …

• Gainwell runs for 15 yards on the first play of the drive to the Pittsburgh 49.

INTERCEPTION: Sanders throws up a prayer for Jeudy. Dugger locates this one and picks it off. Steelers take over at their own 34.

• Some seriously questionable play calls in this game. A screen pass to Smith loses four yards, forcing the Steelers into third-and-14. Then Rodgers is sacked, then Boswell misses a 54-yard field goal attempt. Steelers got into an early hole, then have shot themselves in the foot multiple times since then.

End of the third quarter. Warren squeezes through some tackles and gets down to the Cleveland 27. Steelers have first-and-10 coming up. Browns, 10-6

• On third-and-5 from the Pittsburgh 48, Rodgers completes over the middle to Miller for eight yards. Ball now at the Cleveland 44.

• Steelers have a couple first downs on this drive. Ball now at the Pittsburgh 43.

• Browns move the chains on third-and-6. Ball now at the Cleveland 35.

Cam Heyward called for roughing the passer. Full weight on the quarterback. Flag came out LATE. Ball now at the Cleveland 25.

• Browns taking over at their own 13 after the punt.

• Steelers are punting. They were running well, then decided to start throwing. Drive stalled. Nobody is open. Not surprising since the Steelers don’t have any man beaters playing against a man coverage defense.

Jonnu Smith bails out Rodgers’ sack fumble. Ball flew out of his hands and landed in Smith’s.

INJURY: Harold Fannin (groin) now ruled OUT.

• Warren slips on the kick return. Appears to be fine. Steelers start at their own 25.

Halftime. Steelers will receive the second half kickoff. Browns, 10-6

FIELD GOAL: Rodgers completes to Thielen for 12 yards to the Cleveland 22. Spikes the ball with :03 remaining. Boswell is good from 40 yards. Drive: 10 plays, 56 yards, 1:51. Browns, 10-6

• Rodgers completes over the middle to Pat Freiermuth down to the Cleveland 28. :22 on the clock.

• Miller runs the punt return to the Pittsburgh 22. 1:51 remaining. Steelers have no timeouts.

Two-minute warning. On third-and-6 from the Cleveland 26, Sanders completes to Jeudy, but is two yards shy of the line to gain. Browns appear to be punting. We’ll see after the break.

Nick Herbig dropped a pick six. This team really doesn’t want to win today, huh?

• Wow. Steelers go for it on fourth-and-1, but don’t tush push. They instead spread everything out and Rodgers puts up a go ball for Miller. Incomplete. My gosh, what a horrific play call.

• On third-and-7 from the Cleveland 28, Rodgers takes off and slides just short of the line to gain.

INTERCEPTION: Jack Sawyer is the beneficiary of a tipped pass at the line. Highsmith had the pressure from the blindside. Ball was tipped at the line. Sawyer runs it back 27 yards to the Cleveland 31.

• Browns moving again. Ball at the Pittsburgh 48.

INJURY: Darnell Washington (forearm) now ruled OUT.

• On third-and-5 from the Cleveland 21, Sanders completes to Isaiah Bond. 17 yards to the Cleveland 38. All day to throw.

• On third-and-6 from the Cleveland 47, Adam Thielen drops a back-shoulder pass from Rodgers. Would have been a first down. Browns take over at their own 16 after the punt from Waitman.

• Big 15-yard run by Warren on first down.

• On third-and-18 from the Pittsburgh 45, Sanders scrambles for 11 yards. Browns elect to go for it on fourth down, but Sanders’ pass is incomplete. Steelers take over at their own 34.

INJURY: Darnell Washington is QUESTIONABLE to return with a forearm injury.

• Highsmith finally gets to Sanders. Loss of two yards.

• Sanders has found Jeudy a couple of times on this drive, and now the Browns are at the Pittsburgh 37. Sanders has all day to throw.

• Browns take over at their own 35 after a touchback.

FIELD GOAL: Boswell is good from 44 yards. Drive: 10 plays, 55 yards, 5:17. Browns, 10-3

End of the first quarter. A check down to to Gainwell loses seven yards. Devin Bush all over it. Steelers have third-and-14 coming up from the Cleveland 26. Browns, 10-0

INJURY: Browns tight end Harold Fannin is QUESTIONABLE to return with an ankle injury.

• New wrinkle to the tush push. Connor Heyward keeps on what’s best defined as a QB power. Gets all the way down to the Cleveland 22.

• Steelers get a new set of downs. Rodgers checks down to Darnell Washington, but Rayshawn Jenkins is called for taunting after the play. Ball now at the Pittsburgh 40.

• On third-and-6 from the Pittsburgh 24, Aaron Rodgers completes downfield to Scotty Miller for a big gain. However, Marquez Valdes-Scantling is called for offensive pass interference. Terrible call.

• Steelers starting at their own 20 after a touchback. Gainwell was airborne when he caught it before he was in the end zone.

TOUCHDOWN: Sanders throws one up that should have been picked. Kyle Dugger cannot locate it and Fannin catches it uncontested. 28-yard score. Drive: 6 plays, 86 yards, 3:21. Browns, 10-0

• On third-and-5 from the Pittsburgh 39, Trayveon Williams runs for nine yards.

• Sanders completes to Cedric Tillman for 40 yards on the first play of the drive.

Corliss Waitman with a good punt of 52 yards. Fair caught at the Cleveland 14.

• On third-and-3 from the Pittsburgh 33, Rodgers pitches to Gainwell, who gains just one yard. Three-and-out. Conservative, much?

Jaylen Warren gains six on first down, but fumbles. Dylan Cook fortunate enough to recover.

• Steelers take over at their own 26 after the return by Kenneth Gainwell.

FIELD GOAL: On third-and-9 from the Pittsburgh 34, Sanders completes to Harold Fannin, but is stopped for only three yards. Andre Szmyt is good from 50 yards. Drive: 9 plays, 41 yards, 4:12. Browns, 3-0
