George Kittle OUT, Ricky Pearsall Active vs. Bears; Inactives for Week 17 #CHIvsSF

The San Francisco 49ers have finalized their inactive list ahead of the Week 17 “Sunday Night Football” matchup against the Chicago Bears at Levi’s® Stadium. With rosters limited to 48 active players on gameday, several players will be sidelined for the primetime contest.
Tight end George Kittle and wide receiver Ricky Pearsall were both listed as questionable entering the weekend. Kittle’s status came down to a game-day decision as he continues to manage an ankle injury, while Pearsall showed improvement after being unable to practice last week.
“He got through it,” Shanahan said of Pearsall following the team’s final practice. “He was able to go some, as opposed to last week he wasn’t able to go at all. I think it got better for him each day and hopefully it’ll continue here over the next 48 hours.”
Earlier in the week, the 49ers ruled out QB Kurtis Rourke (knee) and CB Renardo Green (neck). Head coach Kyle Shanahan shared that Green’s injury is a reaggravation from earlier in the season, though the cornerback made progress throughout the week and is trending toward a potential return next week.
To bolster depth, the team elevated LB Eric Kendricks and TE Brayden Willis from the practice squad ahead of kickoff.
