Alert: Windy, strong to severe storms, and sharply colder tonight

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -. The weather will stay cool and fairly quiet through much of next week.
Winds will turn from southwest to northwest overnight with gusts up to 30-40 mph possible. Strong winds will advect much colder air overnight. Temperatures will drop into the low to mid 20s overnight into Monday morning with wind chill values in the single digits!
Highs on Monday will likely only top out in the upper 20s to around 30. expect mostly sunny/partly cloudy skies Monday. Overnight lows Monday night into Tuesday morning will drop all the way into the teens. Wind chills maybe as low as the single digits. Highs on Tuesday will only top out in the lower 30s.
High pressure will keep the weather fairly quiet for much of next week. Temperatures will moderate to near normal for the middle and end of next week, topping out in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
