Michigan Football QB Davis Warren entering the transfer portal

As first reported by ESPN on Monday afternoon, Michigan quarterback Davis Warren plans to enter the transfer portal when it opens later this week.
The cancer survivor and former walk-on is expected to be granted a medical redshirt for the 2025 season and preserve two years of eligibility for his next destination, according to the report.

As Michigan’s primary starter in 2024, Warren threw for 1,199 yards, seven touchdowns and nine interceptions. Although his time as a starter was short-lived and his career numbers are mediocre at best, Warren will always be remembered for beating Ohio State as more than a 20-point underdog in Columbus.
As with all players that enter the portal, we wish Warren nothing but the best at his next destination.
