Week 11 Watchlist: The best game to watch for all 30 teams

Cade Cunningham and the Pistons visit the Cavs in a key game to open 2026.

Week 11 features 55 games as the 2025 portion of the season closes out on New Year’s Eve with nine games and 2026 opens on New Year’s Day with six games.

Eastern Conference

Atlanta Hawks

  • Schedule: Monday at Thunder, Wednesday vs. Timberwolves, Friday at Knicks, Saturday at Raptors
  • Game To Watch: Friday at Knicks – On Saturday, the Hawks’ comeback attempt against the Knicks fell short as they dropped their sixth straight game. Atlanta gets another shot at New York this week, this time at Madison Square Garden.

Boston Celtics

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Jazz, Thursday at Kings, Saturday at Clippers (NBA TV)
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday at Jazz – While Boston’s four-game win streak was snapped in Portland on Sunday, Jaylen Brown extended his 30+ point streak to nine straight games, matching Larry Bird for the longest run in franchise history. He’ll look to take sole possession of that mark when the Celtics visit the Jazz.

Brooklyn Nets

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Warriors, Thursday vs. Rockets, Friday at Wizards, Sunday vs. Nuggets
  • Game To Watch: Monday vs. Warriors – Brooklyn not only has its first three-game win streak of the season, but the Nets’ 7-3 record in December is also the fourth-best in the NBA. They’ll look to keep rolling when they host Stephen Curry and the Warriors.

Charlotte Hornets

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Bucks, Wednesday vs. Warriors (NBA TV), Friday at Bucks, Saturday at Chicago
  • Game To Watch: Monday vs. Bucks – The Hornets have a third chance to earn their first three-game win streak of the season when they host the Bucks to open Week 11, but will have to contend with Giannis Antetokounmpo, who just returned for Milwaukee.

Chicago Bulls

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Timberwolves, Wednesday vs. Pelicans, Friday vs. Magic, Saturday vs. Hornets
  • Game To Watch: Friday vs. Magic – Chicago hosts Orlando in the first game of 2026 for both teams. After going 5-1 in their last six games, the Bulls open Week 11 in ninth place in the East, just 2.5 games back of the fifth-place Magic.

Cleveland Cavaliers

  • Schedule: Monday at Spurs (NBC/Peacock), Wednesday vs. Suns (NBA TV), Friday vs. Nuggets (Prime Video), Sunday vs. Pistons
  • Game To Watch: Monday at Spurs (NBC/Peacock) – The Cavs have dropped two straight and sit one game above .500 as they prepare to open a challenging Week 11, facing four opponents that are a combined 49 games over .500 this season. First up, Cleveland welcomes Wembanyama to town on NBC.

Detroit Pistons

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Lakers (NBC/Peacock), Thursday vs. Heat, Sunday at Cavs
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday at Lakers (NBC/Peacock) – Despite dropping two straight and going 3-3 in their last six games, the Pistons still sit atop the East by 1 1/2 games. Detroit opens Week 11 with the final game of a five-game road trip. After falling to Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers on Sunday, the Pistons remain in L.A. to face the Lakers on NBC.

Indiana Pacers

  • Schedule: Monday at Rockets, Wednesday vs. Magic, Friday vs. Spurs, Sunday at Magic
  • Game To Watch: Wednesday vs. Magic – The Pacers enter this week having dropped eight straight games, as head coach Rick Carlisle remains one win shy of reaching the 1,000 career wins milestone. After opening the week on the road (where Indiana is just 1-14), the Pacers return home (where they are 5-12) to host the first of two matchups with the Magic this week.

Miami Heat

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Nuggets, Thursday at Pistons, Saturday vs. Timberwolves (NBA TV), Sunday vs. Pelicans
  • Game To Watch: Saturday vs. Timberwolves (NBA TV) – If recent history is any indicator, expect a close game when the Heat welcome the Wolves to South Beach. Each of their last three meetings has been decided by four points or less, with the road team winning each game.

Milwaukee Bucks

  • Schedule: Monday at Hornets, Wednesday vs. Wizards, Friday vs. Hornets, Sunday at Kings
  • Game To Watch: Monday at Hornets – After going 2-6 without Giannis Antetokounmpo as he nursed a calf injury, the Bucks defeated the Bulls on Saturday, with “The Greek Freak” scoring 29 in his first game back. Can Milwaukee ride that momentum when it opens Week 11 in Charlotte?

New York Knicks

  • Schedule: Monday at Pelicans, Wednesday at Spurs, Friday vs. Hawks, Saturday vs. Sixers (NBA TV)
  • Game To Watch: Wednesday at Spurs – The second-place team in the East visits the second-place team in the West as the Knicks head to Texas to take on Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs in their first meeting of the season.

Orlando Magic

  • Schedule: Monday at Raptors, Wednesday at Pacers, Friday at Bulls, Sunday vs. Pacers
  • Game To Watch: Monday at Raptors – It’s a clash between two of the most clutch teams in the league – Toronto (11-5) ranks fifth, while Orlando (10-5) ranks sixth in clutch win percentage. The Magic are coming off a clutch win over the Nuggets, as Orlando’s past three wins have come by one, four, and one point, respectively.

Philadelphia 76ers

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Grizzlies (NBC/Peacock), Friday at Mavericks (NBA TV), Saturday at Knicks (NBA TV)
  • Game To Watch: Friday at Mavericks (NBA TV) – The Sixers will be in the spotlight this week with all three of their games broadcast nationally. That includes Friday’s game in Dallas as a pair of top-three picks in the 2025 Draft meet for the final time as rookies. In their first meeting on Dec. 20, VJ Edgecombe (26 pts) outdueled Cooper Flagg (24 pts) as the Sixers earned the win behind Tyrese Maxey’s 38 points.

Toronto Raptors

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Magic, Wednesday vs. Nuggets, Saturday vs. Hawks
  • Game To Watch: Monday vs. Magic – On Sunday, Scottie Barnes stuffed the stat sheet in a way no Raptor ever has in franchise history. After his triple-double (23 points, 25 rebounds, 10 assists) helped the Raptors defeat the Warriors, what will he have in store for an encore against Orlando?

Washington Wizards

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Suns, Wednesday at Bucks, Friday vs. Nets, Sunday vs. Timberwolves
  • Game To Watch: Monday vs. Suns – The Wizards are coming off wins over the Raptors and Grizzlies for their first consecutive wins of the season. They’ll go for three in a row as they welcome the Suns to open Week 11.

Western Conference

The Thunder face a key game this week vs. Golden State as they aim to stay on track for 70-plus wins.

Dallas Mavericks

  • Schedule: Monday at Blazers (Peacock), Thursday vs. Sixers (NBA TV), Saturday vs. Rockets
  • Game To Watch: Saturday vs. Rockets – The Mavs close the week with an all-Texas matchup when they welcome the Rockets to Dallas. These teams have split their first two matchups this season, with Anthony Davis leading Dallas to a win on Dec. 6. Will Davis (adductor) be back in the lineup for the rubber match?

Denver Nuggets

  • Schedule: Monday at Heat, Wednesday at Raptors, Friday at Cavaliers (Prime Video), Sunday at Nets
  • Game To Watch: Monday at Heat – Over his last two games, Nikola Jokić has totaled 90 points, 37 rebounds, and 27 assists. Those numbers are unmatched across any two-game span in NBA history. Does he have another massive triple-double in store when the Nuggets visit Miami?

Golden State Warriors

  • Schedule: Monday at Nets, Wednesday at Hornets (NBA TV), Friday vs. Thunder (Prime Video), Saturday vs. Jazz
  • Game To Watch: Wednesday at Hornets (NBA TV) – Stephen Curry makes his annual trip to his hometown of Charlotte when the Warriors visit the Hornets. His father, Dell, will be on the call for Charlotte, but his brother, Seth, is on the injured list for Golden State.

Houston Rockets

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Pacers, Thursday at Nets, Saturday at Mavericks
  • Game To Watch: Thursday at Nets – Kevin Durant returns to Brooklyn for the first time as a Rocket when Houston visits the suddenly hot Nets (7-3 in December, fourth-best in the NBA). Meanwhile, the Rockets are 6-6 this month, but enter the week having won two straight.

LA Clippers

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Kings, Thursday vs. Jazz, Saturday vs. Celtics (NBA TV)
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday vs. Kings – The Clippers will look to keep their resurgence going. They’ve won four straight after opening the season 6-21 and host the Kings on Tuesday night at Intuit Dome. How will Kawhi Leonard follow up his career-high 55-point performance from Sunday?

Los Angeles Lakers

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Pistons (NBC/Peacock), Friday vs. Grizzlies, Sunday vs. Grizzlies
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday vs. Pistons (NBC/Peacock) – After dropping three straight, the Lakers snapped their skid with a convincing win over the Kings that saw Luka Dončić score 34 points and LeBron James throw down four dunks in a throwback performance. Can they back that up when the East-leading Pistons come to L.A?

Memphis Grizzlies

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Sixers (NBC/Peacock), Friday at Lakers, Sunday at Lakers
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday vs. Sixers (NBC/Peacock) – It’s quick vs. quick as Ja Morant and the Grizzlies welcome Tyrese Maxey and the Sixers to Memphis on Tuesday in the 2025 finale for both teams.

Minnesota Timberwolves

  • Schedule: Monday at Bulls, Wednesday at Hawks, Saturday at Heat (NBA TV), Sunday at Wizards
  • Game To Watch: Saturday at Heat (NBA TV) – This week features a four-game road trip for the Timberwolves, who get to escape frigid Minneapolis for sunny South Beach in their first game of 2026.

New Orleans Pelicans

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Knicks, Wednesday at Bulls, Friday vs. Blazers, Sunday at Heat
  • Game To Watch: Wednesday at Bulls – The Pelicans have beaten only one other team multiple times this season: the Chicago Bulls. New Orleans aims to sweep the season series, 3-0, with a road win in Chicago.

Oklahoma City Thunder

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Hawks, Wednesday vs. Blazers (NBA TV), Friday at Warriors (Prime Video), Sunday at Suns
  • Game To Watch: Friday at Warriors (Prime Video) – At 27-5 entering Week 11, the Thunder still have aspirations of becoming just the third team to ever win 70 or more games in a single NBA season. The last to do it? Golden State in 2015-16. Can OKC beat the Warriors in the Bay to stay on track for that historic benchmark?

Phoenix Suns

  • Schedule: Monday at Wizards, Wednesday at Cavaliers (NBA TV), Friday vs. Kings, Sunday vs. Thunder
  • Game To Watch: Wednesday at Cavaliers (NBA TV) – Devin Booker (2015) and Donovan Mitchell (2017) have gone from being selected 13th overall in their respective NBA Drafts to becoming multi-time All-Stars. This guard matchup takes center stage when the Suns visit Cleveland.

Portland Trail Blazers

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Mavericks, Wednesday at Thunder (NBA TV), Friday at Pelicans, Saturday at Spurs
  • Game To Watch: Wednesday at Thunder (NBA TV) – If the season ended today, the No. 1 Thunder would be waiting to see if the No. 10 Blazers advanced through the SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament to set up a first-round matchup with OKC. How will Portland fare against the defending champs in a possible playoff preview?

Sacramento Kings

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Clippers, Thursday vs. Celtics, Friday at Suns, Sunday vs. Bucks
  • Game To Watch: Thursday vs. Celtics – The Kings will look to light their first beam of 2026 when they host the Celtics on New Year’s Day. However, Boston has won seven of the past eight meetings, including the last four in Sacramento.

San Antonio Spurs

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Cavs (NBC/Peacock), Wednesday vs. Knicks, Friday at Pacers, Saturday vs. Blazers
  • Game To Watch: Monday vs. Cavs (NBC/Peacock) – The Spurs have already proven they can beat last year’s top regular-season team from the West (3-0 vs. Thunder). Now they’ll try to do the same against last year’s top regular-season team from the East when they host Cleveland. The Cavs have won six straight meetings with San Antonio, including a 130-117 win on Dec. 5 while Wembanyama was out.

Utah Jazz

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Celtics, Thursday at Clippers, Saturday at Warriors
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday vs. Celtics – Coming off wins over the Pistons (first in the East) and Spurs (second in the West), can the Jazz make it three straight victories over top-three teams in either conference when the Celtics (third in the East) come to Salt Lake City?
