VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. —
Space Launch Delta 30 (SLD 30) at Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB) has announced a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit interest from United States Launch Service Providers engaged in space transportation services. This initiative aims to develop heavy or super-heavy vertical space launch vehicle capabilities at Space Launch Complex-14 (SLC-14), located near VSFB’s southernmost point.
Launch Service Providers (LSPs) are invited to respond if they are interested in obtaining a real property use agreement (lease) at SLC-14 to finance, design, construct, operate, and maintain space launch infrastructure.
The selected respondent(s) will be responsible for developing the required infrastructure to support required launch capabilities, which are essential for deploying larger military satellites, enhancing resilience, and accelerating satellite constellation reconstitution.
