As Coronation Street and Emmerdale come together for a one-off instalment, Corriedale gives way to death and destruction as Kit and Carla realise what devious Becky has planned for Lisa and Betsy. But can they stop Becky in time?
As Theo catches Todd making a bid for freedom, and Debbie finds herself in trouble with Carl while her wedding guests set off in a minibus, a devastating sequence of events changes lives forever.

1. Debbie is trapped in a car with drunk Carl

Debbie is distraught as she tries to put on a brave face following her wedding to Ronnie, while Carl is distracted by his cash, and has no idea it’s mostly fake.
As Carl drives off in an attempt to escape all consequences, Debbie jumps into Carl’s car. But Carl has been drinking heavily, and he confronts Debbie about his dead mother Elaine.
Groom Ronnie is oblivious as he dances the night away at the reception, but Abi and Kevin chase after Carl and Debbie.
2. Todd is terrified when Theo uncovers his escape plan

Billy is increasingly concerned for Todd, who begs him to take him home to collect his things while abusive Theo is out. Later, Todd joins the wedding guests on the mini-bus, driven by Billy.
But just as they are leaving, Theo appears with his suitcase as a terrified Todd looks on. What does Theo have planned?
3. Tracy and Cassie’s feud continues

When Shona and David opt to use the loo in the bridal suite, they’re taken aback to find Cassie locked in the bathroom.
Cassie tells them that Tracy is behind the incident, before Cassie joins all three on the mini-bus alongside Asha, Todd, James and Steve. Will all thoughts of Cassie and Tracy’s rivalry be forgotten in the ensuing chaos?
4. Kit and Carla set off in pursuit of Becky

Kit gets a tip off about where Becky’s car was last seen, before making a shocking discovery.
Kit finds Carla, who had been kidnapped by Becky, and the pair set off for Hull where they hope to intercept Becky fleeing for Rotterdam. Carla calls Lisa, a move which proves pivotal for Becky…
5. Soaps and storylines collide as evil Becky causes a catastrophe on the road

As Lisa takes Carla’s call, a distracted Becky realises who is on the phone. When Becky subsequently takes her eye off the road, she loses control of the vehicle with both Lisa and their daughter Betsy inside.
As a storm builds, this triggers a multi-car pile-up on a road between Hotten and Weatherfield, where Emmerdale villagers with their own set of problems find themselves in peril.
With David and pregnant Shona caught up in the incident on the bus, driver Billy tries to react quickly to the dangerous situation.
6. Who dies as Carl’s actions lead to further danger?

Drunken Carl is also steering out of control on the wet road, leaving us wondering if he’ll be responsible for putting further lives at risk. Kit and Carla arrive on the scene to save who they can and pursue fugitives, but what will become of Becky?
Amid the traffic, a van pulls up which harbours a mysterious, terrified and bound woman. Who is she, and is she connected to our cobbles regulars?
One thing we do know is that someone will meet their demise as a result of these harrowing events.
7. The Weatherfield locals grieve one of their own

At Hotten General, those injured are brought in for treatment as realisation dawns that nothing will ever be the same again, In the aftermath of the crash, residents remain fearful as someone is intent on murder.
As secrets and lies continue, Weatherfield is in mourning for one character, while others fight for their lives. But as the locals try to get to the bottom of what caused the crash, who have we said goodbye to forever?
8. It’s life or death for one mystery couple
One couple are directly impacted by recent events, finding themselves in a life or death situation. Which pair are involved, and will they make it out alive?
9. One character is arrested in the wake of the tragedy
The police investigation into the crash steps up, with one resident swiftly arrested and facing strong charges. Who has been apprehended, and can the authorities make it stick?
10. Last minute shocks descend on the cobbles
Families are at war as the aftermath of the crash continues to play out.
But as surprises from the past send shockwaves through the Street, what could possibly be in store at the end of this tense week?
