New Year’s Eve forecast in Middle Tennessee: Mild temps and staying dry

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day are looking promising!
If you’re heading out for celebrations, expect temperatures in the mid-30s around midnight. Highs on both days will be near 50 degrees with no rain in the forecast.
We end 2025 with some big weather extremes throughout the year. Our hottest temperature was 101 degrees back on Aug. 19, and our coldest temperature was 8 degrees on Jan. 8.

The snowiest day of the year came 48 hours later on Jan. 10 with 3.9″ of snow! Thankfully, the first two weeks of 2026 are trending in the 50s for highs with little chance for any snow.
