Eva Mendes is giving fans a rare look at life in the U.K. after she and Ryan Gosling left the United States.
Mendes, 51, shared a video on Wednesday, December 31, of her outside with her and Gosling’s dogs as they enjoyed an afternoon stroll in their yard. The actress walked around a fenced area showing off her matching blue sweater and skirt set as the pups played in the background.
“When you’re testing how your fit walks but the important things in life remind you how silly it all is. 💙,” she captioned the Instagram clip. “Lucho & Magic por vida 💙.”
In an additional clip uploaded on Saturday, December 27, Mendes gave a peek at her and Gosling’s cozy home. She can be seen coming out of the front door of the home made out of red bricks. Mendes struggled to decide what jacket to wear outside — a chic colorful coat dress or Gosling’s green jacket.
“Baby, it’s cold outside,” she captioned the clip. “The shacket or my man’s jacket?”
While standing in front of the entry way of their home, Mendes tried on the coat dress. However, she ultimately opted to run inside and grab Gosling’s jacket and one of his hats.
“When in doubt just wear your man’s jacket and his baseball caps,” she lip-synced in the video.
Mendes and Gosling, 45, relocated across the pond earlier this year as the actor began filming his upcoming Star Wars movie, Starfighter, scheduled to be released in 2027.

Gosling and Mendes met in 2011 while working together on the film The Place Beyond the Pines. The couple kept their relationship low-key at first, but Us Weekly confirmed in 2014 that they had welcomed their first daughter, Esmeralda. Two years later, they expanded their family with daughter Amada.
“I don’t talk about Ryan and all the wonderful things he does as a father because I keep that part private,” Mendes explained of why she and Gosling keep their lives out of the spotlight in an April 2020 social media post. “I feel it’s best that I continue to disclose what I’m comfortable with but not involve him or my kids too much. It’s not about being cagey or weird, it’s just about staying private in a public space. Does that make sense? Hope so. Because this is my honest answer.”
In 2022, Mendes and Gosling fueled marriage speculation after the actress was spotted sporting a tattoo that included the Project Hail Mary star’s last name.
Last year, Gosling opened up about how he and Mendes make a great team.

“She is with the girls and when she works, I stay home with the girls too. I couldn’t be here without her,” Gosling said in an April 2024 interview with Extra.
Gosling added that on top of being a doting mother, Mendes also helps him get ready for his various projects.
“She has really become the best acting coach I have ever had,” he gushed. “It’s endless how much she helps me.”
