And we’re getting to the stage where huge leaps will be taken thanks to one win.
For example, Ryan Searle started the tournament 20th and is provisionally 13th having reached the quarter-finals. If he beats Jonny Clayton, he’ll rise to seventh place provisionally.
As for Clayton, a win for the Welshman will lift him above Michael van Gerwen into third position, behind Luke Littler and Luke Humphries.
