Analeia Rhoads Simpson is a milestone baby in Fayetteville.
Analeia became the first baby of 2026 born at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on Thursday morning at 4:17 a.m.
The newborn weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 20 inches long. She arrived in good health for happy parents Jasmine Rhoads Simpson and Michael Rhoads Simpson.
To celebrate the occasion, Analeia and the family received a gift basket, a box of diapers, blankets, pacifiers and a plush elephant with the message “A Star Is Born – Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, N.C.”
