SAN ANTONIO – A 37-year-old man is dead following a fight that led to gunfire outside a West Side bar, according to San Antonio police.
Authorities said a fight started just before 2:30 a.m. Thursday inside a Stout House in the 9200 block of Potranco Road, which is located near State Highway 151.
According to an SAPD preliminary report, the fight spilled out into the bar’s parking lot where the victim attempted to leave in a truck but was shot shortly after getting in the vehicle.
The man was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
In the SAPD report, officers said they believe there are at least two alleged suspects connected to the shooting; however, none have been apprehended.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet identified the man.
SAPD said its investigation is ongoing.
