How’s the table looking?

Arsenal are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table and were top at Christmas, though that may change before the New Year depending on results.
They have 42 points, with Aston Villa three back on 39 and Manchester City between them on 40 points.
Aston Villa could go above Arsenal today with a win, though it would need a six-goal margin or more, but would go level on points with the leaders if they take all three points.
Arsenal, meanwhile, could stretch their lead over Villa to six points if they are triumphant.
Both know that in-form Manchester City, who travel to Sunderland on New Year’s Day, are lurking ominously in and around them.
