On January 1 and 2, work will be organized according to the weekday schedule, with 76 garbage trucks from the enterprise on the line. On the following Saturday and Sunday, January 3 and 4, there will be 50 and 30 vehicles, respectively. Additionally, three to four units of equipment will be held in reserve, ready to depart for unscheduled waste removal.
— We work in close cooperation with housing organizations. Due to the holidays, increased volumes of waste, including packaging materials, may accumulate at certain addresses. If employees of ZHEU (housing maintenance units) or ZhKKh (housing and communal services) of the district, who monitor the sanitary condition of courtyard areas, notice that containers are overflowing, they will submit a request for additional garbage removal. In addition, our specialists monitor appeals received on the 115.bel portal. If they concern filled containers, we promptly dispatch an on-duty garbage truck to the specified address, without waiting for a request from the servicing housing organization, — explained Andrei Khvin, director of the “Spetskommunatrans” enterprise, detailing the action algorithm.
He noted that unlike major holidays in warmer months, when many Minsk residents leave the city, people celebrate New Year at home or visiting. As a result, the number of cars parked in courtyards increases, and they often obstruct the passage of garbage trucks to container sites or individual containers placed for unloading near the pavement.
— We hope for the conscientiousness of car owners — the maintenance of cleanliness in courtyard areas also depends on them, — summarized A. Khvin.
“Spetskommunatrans” removes waste from the Central, Partyzanski, Leninski, Savetski, Pershamaiski, and Zavodski districts. JLLC “Remondis Minsk” serves the Maskouski, Kastrychnitski, and Frunzenski districts of the capital.
