Everett man killed in early morning officer-involved shooting

EVERETT, Wash. — A man is dead after an officer-involved shooting at around 5 a.m. Friday morning, according to the Everett Police Department.
The EPD said “several Washington State law enforcement agencies” were involved in the shooting in the 6100 block of Fleming Street.
No officer injuries have been reported.

Fleming Street was closed north of Pecks Drive.
The EPD said the “incident is now being investigated by the Snohomish Multi Agency Response Team (SMART).”
