LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. (WLS) — Police are investigating after a body was found Friday evening near train tracks in the north suburbs.
The incident happened in Libertyville near Winchester and Ellis, officials said.

A spokesperson for Metra says a train did not hit the person.
The Lake County Coroner is working to figure out a cause of death and the identity of the person.
Some trains on the Metra Milwaukee District North Line were operating with delays.
No further information on the death investigation was immediately available.
