Catch-a-Fire Pizza closes 3 locations

CINCINNATI (WXIX) -A popular Cincinnati pizza chain announced Friday that it has closed three of its four locations.

Catch-a-Fire Pizza announced through Facebook Reel that they closed their full-service restaurants in Blue Ash, College Hill, and Lebanon, as of Jan. 1.

Their Westwood location inside Westside Brewing remains open.

“We thank you for your support over the years and we are very grateful for the many good times and happy memories,” the company stated.

Our media partners at the Cincinnati Enquirer say that husband and wife duo Jeff and Melissa Ledford opened their first Catch-a-Fire Pizza food truck in February 2013, per the company’s website. Nearly two years later, the co-founders opened their first brick-and-mortar location inside MadTree Brewing, which they later closed in 2024.

They also launched their first restaurant, bar and bottle shop in Blue Ash in 2020 and opened another restaurant and taproom in Lebanon in 2022. Catch-a-Fire Pizza, which was named Pizza Company of the Year for the midwest region by Pizza Today for 2023, announced in 2024 that it would open a new kitchen inside the West Side Brewing Taproom and an additional restaurant in College Hill, inside the former Sleepy Bee Cafe location.
