Punjab produced a dominant performance to beat Sikkim by 10 wickets in their Elite Group C clash at Jaipur. After winning the toss and choosing to bowl first, the Punjab bowling unit ran through the Sikkim lineup, bundling them out for a mere 75 in 22.2 overs. India pacer Arshdeep Singh was the star with the ball, claiming a brilliant five-wicket haul to dismantle the visitors’ batting order. In reply, Punjab made light work of the chase, cruising to 81/0 in just 6.2 overs. Openers Prabhsimran Singh and Harnoor Singh remained unbeaten as they comfortably achieved the target without losing a wicket. Arshdeep’s match-winning spell earned him the Player of the Match award.
