Family tradition and a New Year’s message

The New Year’s Eve celebration at Mar-a-Lago is a long-standing tradition that predates Donald Trump’s time in the White House. Over the years, the event has welcomed guests such as Sylvester Stallone, Tiger Woods, Martha Stewart, and Serena Williams, cementing its reputation as one of the most exclusive private parties in the country.

They describe the installation as the first major moment in a yearlong slate of headline events marking America’s 250th anniversary.
