Victoria Jones, daughter of Tommy Lee Jones, found dead in hotel on New Year’s Day

The daughter of Academy Award-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones has died, her family acknowledged in a statement on Friday night.
A woman of the same name, Victoria Jones, was found dead at the San Francisco Fairmont Hotel on Thursday, authorities said, adding that the cause of death was pending.
A representative for Tommy Lee Jones shared a statement from Victoria Jones’ family Friday in response to a request for comment about reports of her death.
“We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers,” the statement said. “Please respect our privacy during this difficult time.”
The San Francisco Fire Department said it responded to 950 Mason Street, which is the address of the Fairmont Hotel, for a medical emergency just before 3 a.m. Thursday.
Paramedics declared the person deceased and called the police department and medical examiner to the scene to take over the case, the fire department said.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner subsequently identified the person as 34-year-old Victoria Jones. The office did not release her cause and manner of death.
The San Francisco Fairmont Hotel said in a statement that it was “deeply saddened by an incident that occurred at the hotel on January 1, 2026.”
The hotel is cooperating with police “within the framework of the ongoing investigation,” the statement said.
The San Francisco Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for more information.
Victoria Jones is the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. She acted alongside her father as a child and teen, including in “Men in Black II.”
Tommy Lee Jones, 79, won an Oscar for his supporting role in “The Fugitive” in 1994. He has also been in movies such as “JFK,” “Lincoln” and “No Country for Old Men.”
