Notts County v Gillingham and five National League games postponed due to freeze

Five of Sunday’s League Two matches have been postponed due to the freezing temperatures following six in the National League on Saturday.

The games at Bromley, Harrogate Town, Notts County, Salford City and Swindon Town were all called off more than 24 hours before the scheduled kick-off times with conditions deemed unplayable.

And there will be an 09:00 GMT inspection at Rotherham United on Sunday morning to decide whether their game against Mansfield Town can go ahead.

In National League, fixtures are Aldershot, Rochdale, Southend and Woking all fell by the wayside on Saturday morning.

The top-of-the-table game between Boreham Wood and York City and Scunthorpe United v Sutton United had already been called off on Friday.

Yellow warnings for snow and ice came into force for large parts of England at midnight on Thursday, remaining until midday on Friday.

Further alerts have been issued for over the weekend and into the early part of next week.
