Report: Yankees, Dodgers, Cubs showing interest in Bo Bichette

Three more teams have thrown their hat into the Bo Bichette ring.
The New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs have all checked in on the star shortstop, New York Post‘s Jon Heyman reported Thursday.
Bichette and the Toronto Blue Jays topped the Yankees in the 2025 ALDS before losing the Fall Classic to the Dodgers.
It’s been previously reported that Bichette has informed teams he’s willing to shift one position to his left and play second base, where he played through all seven games of the World Series for the Blue Jays.
Bichette, a free agent, has spent his entire career with the Blue Jays, developing into one of the MLB’s best with the bat.
The 27-year-old hit .311 last season, placing second in the majors with 44 doubles and tying for second with 181 hits despite missing the final 20 games of the regular season with a PCL sprain in his left knee.
He missed much of the final month as well as the ALDS and ALCS with the injury, but returned for the Fall Classic, hitting .348 with one home run and six RBIs.
Through seven MLB seasons, Bichette is slashing .294/.337/.469 with 111 home runs and 437 RBIs.
