With the 2026 World Darts Championship reaching its climax this weekend, darts fans can already start clearing their calendars for next year’s edition. The Paddy Power World Darts Championship will return to Alexandra Palace, London, next winter, with the event running between December 2026 and January 2027.
With the increasing popularity of the sport in recent years, the tournament will expand and move to the venue’s larger Great Hall for the first time, allowing an extra 70,000 spectators to attend over the course of the competition.
Yet, the demand is also expected to be higher than ever with the World Darts Championship now one of the most popular winter sporting events in the UK.
If you’re considering being one of the tens of thousands to wear fancy dress and watch your favourite player in action, there are a few key things you need to know about attending the 2027 tournament.
Mirror Sport brings you everything you need to know about when tickets go on sale and how to buy them.
When and how to buy tickets for the 2027 World Darts Championship?
Official ticket sales start several months before the tournament itself, typically in August.
For the most recent 2025/26 edition, the PDC confirmed tickets first went on sale to PDCTV Annual Members at 12pm BST on Monday, August 4, 2025. They unsurprisingly sold out in just hours.
After the member window, any remaining tickets are usually offered to the general public via a free ballot or general sale a few days later. The ballot two years ago opened on August 6 but the most recent year’s table and tier seats were snapped up so quickly that the public ballot didn’t take place.
Fear not, however, the PDC and official ticket partners allow fans to register for ticket alerts in advance so you can be notified of the exact moment they go on sale in 2027.

How much will 2027 World Darts Championship tickets cost?
Ticket prices haven’t yet been confirmed but, based on previous years, early round sessions usually cost around £50-£60. Mid-tournament sessions are a bit pricier while semi-final and final sessions can cost around £95, depending on seating type.
Secondary resale market tickets in the case of tickets selling out, which is highly likely, cost a minimum of £146. They can exceed £350 on some resale sites for the latter stages.
VIP and hospitality packages, including food, drinks and premium seating areas, cost considerably more than standard tickets. Details are released closer to the sale date through official tour operators.
