The actor recently appeared on NPR’s Wild Card with Rachel Martin, where he spoke candidly about the mixed reception to the 2021 Marvel film and how the experience reshaped his relationship to work. Rather than focusing on the disappointment surrounding the project, Nanjiani emphasized the personal growth that came from it, calling the experience something he remains deeply grateful for. “I’m very proud of my performance in it,” Nanjiani said. “And it’s rare to say, but I actually wouldn’t change anything about how I am in that movie.”
