Island Boys rapper arrested again after fentanyl found during traffic stop in Florida

Frank Venegas, widely recognized as one half of the viral “Island Boys” duo, was arrested on New Year’s Eve after Collier County deputies reportedly found fentanyl-laced paraphernalia during a traffic stop—while he was still out on bond for a prior gun and drug case. According to the affidavit, the stop occurred on December 31 when a black Mercedes-Benz failed to yield at a crosswalk near State Road 29 and Kaicasa Lane. Venegas, 24, was the passenger and allegedly made suspicious movements toward the rear of the vehicle, prompting a search that uncovered a Chase debit card in his name and a cut straw testing positive for fentanyl, along with a gray bag containing a Zolpidem pill and fentanyl residue. The driver, Olivia Dubois, was also arrested on drug charges. Venegas now faces possession of drug paraphernalia and remains in custody at Collier County Jail, with arraignment set for January 21, 2026. This latest arrest adds to his string of legal troubles, including a February 2025 case involving oxycodone and an altered firearm, as well as previous charges for domestic battery and reckless driving.
