The Kansas City Chiefs are off to a hot start against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 18 after veteran defensive back Chamarri Conner intercepted quarterback Kenny Pickett in the first quarter of the late-season AFC West showdown this afternoon.
Conner, who has been a vital part of Kansas City’s defensive strategy this season, made a savvy move to jump a route and put himself in a position to make a play on the ball.

His interception gave Kansas City possession in favorable field position, but the Chiefs’ offense — led by third-string quarterback Chris Oladokun — was unable to capitalize on its opportunity to score the game’s first points on the ensuing drive.
