MINNEAPOLIS – Green Bay Packers safety Evan Williams was fined $6,448 for his hit on Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely in Week 17, the NFL announced Jan. 3.

Williams was fined for a hit on a defenseless player.

The play drew a 15-yard unnecessary-roughness penalty against the Packers, which put the ball at the Packers’ 14-yard line with 25 seconds to go in the second quarter. The Ravens ended up scoring a touchdown to take a 27-14 lead at halftime.

Williams also was fined $6,448 for impermissible use of the helmet against the Carolina Panthers in Week 9.

  • Week 7: Linebacker Quay Walker, hit on quarterback (blow to the head/neck), $17,389
  • Week 2: Linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper, facemask, $6,981
  • Week 1: Safety Xavier McKinney, taunting, $11,593
