The Town of Portugal Cove-St. Philips prides itself in being an inclusive community, and says it will continue that focus in 2026.
Mayor Dave Bartlett says they are one of the most progressive in that regard in the province.
He says the town puts off summer programs for respite workers, and is committed to accessibility and support for families.
Bartlett says they want to continue to be a welcoming, compassionate and forward-thinking community. “We want to do everything right, so consultation with residents is very important as well.”
