A scratch-lottery ticket worth $250,000 was sold last week at a New Jersey market.N.J. Lottery
The third grand-prize ticket in the “$250,000 Crossword” scratch-off lottery game was sold last week at a market in Essex County.
The ticket was purchased Dec. 29 at Millennium Food Mart on Bloomfield Avenue in Newark, New Jersey Lottery officials said Monday.
Three more $250,000 tickets remain unclaimed in the game, which launched in August. Each ticket costs $10.
Previous $250,000 winners were sold at Lucky Deli on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Jersey City, and Fine Fare on Hamilton Street in Somerset.
The lottery initially released more than 3.6 million tickets for the game.
