Disney has announced the return of its summer water park benefit for 2026. Walt Disney World Resort guests checking in between May 26 and September 8, 2026, can access either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach on their arrival day at no extra cost.
How the Water Park Benefit Works
The water park benefit gives you admission to one Disney water park on your check-in day. You can visit the park before your room is ready, making it a good option if you arrive early.
To enter, use your MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World Card at the water park entrance.
Getting to the Water Parks
Bus Transportation: Free buses run between Disney resorts and water parks. Remember that luggage is not allowed on buses.
Minnie Van Service: Book a ride through the Lyft app. Fees apply.
Parking: Park for free at the water parks on a first-come, first-served basis.
Storing Your Luggage
You cannot bring luggage into the water parks or on Disney buses. Here are your storage options:
At Your Resort Hotel: Drop off your bags with Bell Services before heading to the water park. They will deliver your luggage to your room when it’s ready.
At the Water Park: Rent a keyless locker for smaller items like day bags, phones, and wallets. Lockers are available for a one-time daily charge.
What to Pack
Pack a small day bag with your water park essentials:
- Swimwear
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Flip-flops or water shoes
- Change of clothes
Both water parks have changing areas with showers. Life jackets are free at the parks, so leave yours at home. Resort guests also get complimentary towel rentals at Singapore Sal’s and High ‘N Dry Rentals.
Before You Visit
Check Your Reservation: Only registered overnight guests on your resort reservation can use this benefit. Add guests to your reservation if needed.
View Park Hours: Check the park calendar close to your arrival date. Only one water park operates at a time during refurbishment periods.
Watch the Weather: Water parks close for bad weather. Full-day closures appear on the park calendar one day in advance. Same-day closures can happen with little notice.
Important Details
The water park benefit applies only to registered guests at Disney Resorts Collection hotels with check-in dates from May 26 to September 8, 2026. You can only use the benefit on your check-in day. It cannot be moved to another day.
Water parks undergo annual refurbishments, but at least one park should be open throughout the year. The benefit is subject to availability, weather closures, and capacity limits.
Parks and offerings can change or close without notice. No refunds or credits are given for closures or changes.
