PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Positive messages welcomed students back to Roxborough High School on Monday morning as Philadelphia police are working to identify the suspect who scribbled racist and antisemitic graffiti on the outside of the building over the weekend.

Video from State Representative Tarik Kahn shows crews working quickly on Sunday to clean up the vandalism.

The school then invited the community to write positive messages on the ground with chalk.

“Love wins every single time,” said Principal Kristin Williams-Smalley. “And we are here to show everyone, particularly our cubs, which is what we call our students, that we are here and we’re going to show up every time for them and that hate has no place here.”

So far, no suspects have been arrested.

The investigation remains ongoing.
