Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert are now proud parents!
The couple, who tied the knot in 2023, announced the birth of their first child together in a joint Instagram post Jan. 5.
Derek Hough and Erbert uploaded a black-and-white picture that showed the dancers holding their newborn’s tiny feet.
They revealed her name and birth date in the caption, writing, “December 29, 2025 Everley Capri Hough.”
The two sweetly added, “Every step of our lives has led us to you. Our hearts have been cracked wide open and our world is forever changed.”
Members of their “Dancing With the Stars” family congratulated Derek Hough and Erbert in the comments.
Sister Julianne Hough left a message for her niece. “Welcome to the world sweet angel Everley,” she said and included a pink heart.
“Dancing With the Stars” Season 34 champion Robert Irwin wrote, “Congratulations to you both! So happy.”
Fellow Season 34 alum Dylan Efron said, “She’s going to be so loved.”
Derek Hough also quickly changed his Instagram bio to include “Girl Dad.”
Erbert and the “Dancing With the Stars” judge, who began dating in 2015 after meeting on the show, shared in July 2025 that they were expecting their first child together. They uploaded a video that showed the two embracing before Erbert unraveled a series of ultrasound photos.
“We can’t believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small,” they said in the caption.
Erbert frequently posted pictures over the last few months to keep fans updated on her pregnancy journey.
On Dec. 24, the couple uploaded a picture of them kissing in front of a Christmas tree.
“Last Christmas Eve Just you and me Before we become three,” they captioned the snap.
Ahead of baby Everley’s arrival, Erbert shared a series of Polaroids of her cradling her baby bump.
“This pregnancy,” she gushed in the caption. “Forever in awe of my body!”
She then added in the comments, “The last frame is me feeling being VERY pregnant.”
